The relics of St. Thomas at St. Mary's Niranam Church, believed to have been founded by the Apostle in AD 54, are of great historical and spiritual significance. St. Thomas, one of the twelve disciples of Jesus Christ, is thought to have arrived in India in AD 52. He is credited with founding seven and a half churches in Kerala, and Niranam Church is one of them, making it one of the oldest churches in the world.

The history of the church, along with its relics and artifacts housed in its museum, is eloquently explained by Thomas Philip, a former secretary of the church. Special thanks to the Vicar, Fr. Sibu Thomas Amballoor, for his valuable contribution to this video. #Kerala #malankaraorthodoxsyrianchurch #stthomaschristians
