Anna Mullarkey | Black Gate Sessions

Anna Mullarkey is a composer, producer and performer of rare talent. Inspired by minimalist, classical and house music, her work incorporates elements of world music, folk, jazz and electronica while her performances are always thoughtful, creative and full of artistry. For this mesmerising show in The Black Gate, Anna is joined by Sam Wright on bass and Paul McClure on bodhrán.

Funded by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sports and Media, and as part of a wider series of concerts with Ireland’s newly formed Live Venues Collective, The Black Gate assembled some of Ireland’s finest musicians for the recording of a series of concert films in December 2020.
