Chris Metzen Returns to Blizzard to Lead Warcraft AWAKENING?

Christ Metzen has announced his return to Blizzard and the Warcraft franchise, but is it possibly to lead the new rumored Warcraft Awakening project? What could this mean for the World of Warcraft franchise as a whole, and WoW Classic specifically?
