Attempting to answer the age old question: Do you need 4wd to effectively use a 45 loader on a John Deere garden tractor. In this case I test on the 45 loader in 4wd and 2wd on my 2007 X748.

This is part of dealing with strictly weight. Part 2 will cover using the loader in a dirt pile.
