It is hard for us to imagine a place where we never have to part from our loved ones again. Although we are saddened and shocked to lose loved ones, we expect finite existences in this sinful world. The concept of forever hurts my brain to think about - I just can't comprehend it! Having laid my aunty to rest this week, I think of a place and a time where no parting is necessary and my brain can't comprehend that either - though it longs for it! We were never designed for loss, we were never meant to say goodbye. I can't wait for a time when we don't have to!
