Quick Tips Ep. 4: Fixing Common Ollie Problems a.k.a. How To Ollie Higher and Better
(I recorded this in February but right before I released it a few channels uploaded how to ollie higher videos so I decided to wait a little.)
Quick Tips isn't a how to series. It is meant to address specific issues not only with particular skate tricks but also with other areas of skateboarding knowledge.
This Quick Tips was geared a little more towards the beginner skater who is either working on their ollies or has just learned them and wants to try to improve them. I didn't want to give the same old "put your foot lower and pop harder" explanation that everyone else gives. A lot of concepts in skateboarding are easy to teach but there are also a lot that come down to straight muscle memory and experience. I tried my best to explain my thoughts on common ollie mistakes I've seen but when it comes down to it the best way to learn is to get out there and practice!
What do you guys think of this quick tips series? Is it helpful to go more indepth into certain aspects of a trick or is a regular trick tip good enough?
Good luck and have fun! :D
Thank you for watching!
P.S. 10,000 subscriber giveaway winner will be announced on Friday, the 20th of May.
