Pokemon Sets from Past Formats is a series where I do a pokemon set review looking at the best and/or iconic cards from that set and talk about how those formats were in the pokemon tcg.

ex delta species is no doubt the strongest and most significant set from the ex era in my eyes, definitely a defining set and because it includes some of my favorite pokemon cards I'd go as far as to say it is my favorite pokemon set of all time. From giving birth to metanite, introducing the cool delta species aspect of pokemon with different types and giving decks the ability to use the holon trainer engine this set is truly top dog in almost every department.
