After arriving to Muang Xai in northern Laos, we decided to go out and explore the town. We visit a nice market with friendly locals and check out some of the delicious, interesting, and odd things that are for sale.

This town is full of excitement despite its size. There is something interesting happening on every corner. As we headed back to our hotel, we heard a party in motion and decided to walk by.

We did not know what to expect, but I was hoping that we could crash the party and enjoy some local vibes. The reaction of the locals shocked us as we approached. We were immediately invited into to party, eat, drink, and dance. Their hospitality and good nature was incredible.

This is why I love traveling in Laos and going to small towns where you can meet so many friendly and genuine people. Be sure to visit Muang Xai if you ever get a chance to go to Laos.
