The Air Seat- A Novel Solution for Seat Comfort

I'm a big fan of minimalist suspension for ultra distance cycling, as we can use the fastest possible tire setup and still be comfortable. But until now a standard seat post size was needed for aftermarket options. The Air Seat is nearly universal (see website for exceptions). While it looks a bit gadgety and has been mostly enjoyed by commuters and casual cyclists (see reviews in Korea Mall link below), I think many long distance road cyclists would benefit from the Air Seat. With intricate design, high build quality, modest weight, and an amazingly low price ($49-$99 USD), the Air Seat could the top option for those with a proprietary seat post, on a budget or testing the waters of minimalist suspension, or those who want to temporarily make their race bike more comfortable for long events.
