Case Discussion 11 - Replacing an Old Bridge

Описание к видео Case Discussion 11 - Replacing an Old Bridge

Always plan in depth before starting a case so you know exactly what needs to be done to execute the plan. It will also greatly help you in explaining to the patient why you’re doing what you are and that leads to patient satisfaction and trust.

Please Note:
According to updated literature, RCT of healthy abutments is never recommended as that reduces the lifespan of the tooth. However there are some exceptions to this rule.
RCTs in this case was done for two reasons,
1) Extreme Hypersensitivity of Abutments (even air and not responding to other treatments)
2) Substantial Bone loss around Abutments.

If you do such a case and the teeth appear to be healthy clinically and on the X-ray, no need for Root canal treatments on abutment teeth :)
