This 18 hour sleeper train ride was my first night train experience, and I'm glad I did it up! The SJ94 travels 1400 km north from Stockholm, Sweden, to Narvik, Norway – above the Arctic Circle. While many people would gasp at the price of this journey, I thought it was well worth having my space and privacy.

I bought my tickets 83 days in advance through VY Sweden (vy.se/en) but the journey is by SJ. I purchased refundable tickets in case of trip cancellation or delays leading up to my trip.

Everything was clean and mostly on time, with the exception of a delay toward the end that derailed (lol) some of my plans for the rest of my trip to the Lofoten Islands.

Yes I know the audio is awful
I sometimes used the Hollyland Lark M2 wireless microphones (in scenes where you see me wear it)
I sometimes used the in-camera microphone of the ZV-E1 which was a big mistake
The train compartment is kind of noisy, because it's a train, duh
I filmed with S-Log3 and I don't know what I'm doing in DaVinci Resolve but I attempted to colour grade it and I know it still looks awful and well, what are you going to do about it, come over and edit it for me? I will not pay. I already spent all my money on this sleeper train journey.
