The Valley Dale Ballroom has a rich history going back to the late 1800’s when the property was a well-known stagecoach stop between Columbus and Sunbury, Ohio. Over the years fires and floods ravaged the building, but The Valley Dale Ballroom survived and thrived, becoming nationally known as the place where the greatest names in Big Band music played in Columbus during the 1930’s and 1940’s. We spoke with owner Landa Masdea Brunetto about the history of this musical landmark.
