This amazing igloo café, located at the Gulmarg ski resort, India, is known as Asia's very own slice of Switzerland. Adil Hussain, 30, a photojournalist, from Srinagar, India, decided to visit this unique location and snapped this series of incredible images of the café. The igloo café gets over two thousand visitors per month during its short shelf life of three months before it melts away. Located at the Gulmarg ski-resort of Baramulla district in North Kashmir, skiers can enjoy the café by bringing food from outside as well as ordering limited food items such as traditional favourites including potato paratha, Maggi, boiled eggs, Coffee, tea and Kashmiri kehwa tea. The Igloo Café is about 42 feet by 42 feet, making it around 13 metres tall. Adil said: "People from across India visit Gulmarg and the igloo café is a point of attraction for travellers visiting the ski resort. Not only Indians and locals, but foreigners from other parts of the world visit this place as well. "I had heard about this café so I thought I would go and see what it is like and how it attracts visitors. "There was no concept of an igloo café in my childhood, in fact, this Igloo Café only started in 2021. I liked it very much. Being a local as well as journalist, I visit Gulmarg almost every year in the winters when it's full of snow."
