Subli Glaze Sublimation Coatings

We have a variety of coatings that provide different effects.

1. Subli Glaze™ Adhesion Promoter: This is the bonding adhesive that is used first. It allows the Subli Glaze™ products to adhere to the substrate and prevents separation of the coating from the substrate after pressing.

2. Subli Glaze™ Clear Sublimation Coating: Facilitates the image transfer allowing sublimation inks to bond onto the polymer substrate; without Subli Glaze™ Clear Sublimation Coating the image will not transfer. Use it to: Provide a polymer layer which sublimation inks can bond to allow effective image transfer.

3. Subli Glaze™ Matte Sublimation Coating: This provides a matte polymer layer for your images to effectively bond and transfer the sublimation inks onto substrates. Without this your images will not transfer. Use it to: Provide a polymer layer which sublimation inks can bond to allow effective image transfer.

4. Subli Glaze™ White Base Coating: Use on dark substrates. This provides a solid white base layer to give vibrance to the transferred image. (Use with Subli Glaze™ Clear Sublimation Coating)

5. Subli Glaze™ Translucent White Coating: is used when working with clear substrates such as glass or acrylics, where the image needs to be transferred to the back of the substrate, allowing light to pass through it. Subli Glaze™ Translucent White Coating is applied after Subli Glaze™ Clear Sublimation Coating is applied. The image transfers through the white coating so when viewed from the correct side the image has a white background. Use it to: Provide a translucent white background which the image is transferred through. It allows light to pass through the coating to illuminate the image.
