Dr. Jessica Pizano joined us at the EDS ECHO Summit: Diet and Nutrition event to present on Nutrient Testing: Exploring Key Biomarkers and Interpretation. This presentation explores various tests available to look at nutritional status as well as the use of food diaries and analysis software to help optimize nutritional status for the patient with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. We will discuss the validity of each test explored, what it looks at and how to advocate for your needs as a patient.

Dr. Jessica Pizano graduated with honors from the University of Bridgeport's clinical nutrition master's program. She continued her education at Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH) where she graduated with a Doctor of Clinical Nutrition. During her years in academia, she developed interests in nutritional genomics and metabolomics. She specializes in working with patients that have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Mast Cell Activation Disorders, Dysautonomia and other conditions.
Dr. Pizano is also the owner of Mast Cell Advanced Diagnostics and co-owner of Clinical Paradigms.
