In this video we will discuss Government of India has decided to immediately despatch Search and Rescue Teams of National Disaster Response Force and Medical Teams along with relief material to earthqauke hit Turkey. Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister Dr P K Mishra today held a meeting to discuss immediate relief measures in light of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s instructions to offer all possible assistance to cope with the earthquake in Turkey. Two teams of NDRF comprising 100 personnel with specially trained dog squads and necessary equipment are ready to be floto the earthquake hit area for search and rescue operations. Medical Teams are also being readied with trained doctors and paramedics with essential medicines
The first Indian C17 flight with NDRF personnel, specially trained dog squads, drilling machines, relief material, medicines and other necessary utilities and equipment has reached Adana, Türkiye. In a tweet, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that the second plane is also getting ready for departure.


The decision to sent relief material was taken yesterday in the light of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s instructions to offer all possible assistance and relief measures to the victims of earthquake. The relief measures is being taken up in coordination with the government of Turkiye.

NDRF DIG Mohsin Shahidi said, two teams of NDRF comprising of 101 rescuers are in Turkiye for rescue and relief operations



Indian Army has mobilised an 89 member medical team to earthquake hit Türkiye. The team comprises Medical Specialists and is equipped with X-ray Machines, Ventilators, Oxygen Generation Plants, Cardiac Monitors an associated equipment, to establish a 30 bedded medical facility.
