বর্তমান রাজনৈতিক বাস্তবতায় ভারতের সাথে বাংলাদেশের একটা অলিখিত ক্ল্যাশ চলছে। বিভিন্ন ঘটনাকে কেন্দ্র করে প্রতিবেশী দুই দেশের জনগণের মধ্যেও দ্বান্দ্বিক অবস্থা এখন অনেকটাই সত্য। কিন্তু বাংলাদেশী হিসেবে এই দ্বান্দ্বিক অবস্থার মধ্যেও আপনাকে একটা কথা স্বীকার করতে হবে, তা হল- প্রযুক্তি খাতের অগ্রগতি ও বৈশ্বিক প্রযুক্তি সেক্টরে ভারতের অবস্থান শুধু বাংলাদেশের চাইতেই না বিশ্বের বহু দেশের চাইতে যোজন যোজন এগিয়ে।
অথচ ভারত ও বাংলাদেশের স্বাধীনতার ইতিহাস, প্রাচীন ইতিহাস কিংবা জাতিগত ইতিহাসে খুব একটা ফারাক নেই।
গুগল, মাইক্রোসফট, ইউটিউব সহ বিশ্বের জায়ান্ট লেভেলের প্রায় সকল কোম্পানিতে ভারতীয়দের আধিপত্য চোখে পড়ার মতো। বৈশ্বিক শির্ষস্থানীয় প্রায় ১০ টি কোম্পানির বর্তমান সিইও ভারতীয়। আর বিশ্বব্যাপী প্রযুক্তিখাঁতে এমন দখলের কারণে ভারতকে বলা হয় CEO Factory।
অথচ, বাংলাদেশের নিজস্ব কোম্পানিগুলোর উচ্চপদও বাংলাদেশীদের দখলে নাই। কেন? যেখানে বর্তমান বাংলাদেশের জনসংখ্যায় ডেমোগ্রাফিক ডিফিডেন্ট চলছে এবং দেশের প্রায় ৬৫% মানুষ এখন কর্মক্ষম। সেই সাথে এই মানুষগুলোকে দক্ষ করে তোলার জন্য আছে জেলায় জেলায় নানান বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়। তারপরেও দেশের প্রযুক্তি খাতে নেতৃত্ব দেওয়ার মতো মানুষ তৈরি হয় না, বৈশ্বিক ভাবেও আমরা প্রযুক্তির বাজারে ঠিকঠাক ঢুকতে পারছি না। কেন? সমস্যাটা কোথায়? ভারত ঠিক কোন জায়গায় ফোকাস করার কারণে আজকে বিশ্বকে লিড দিচ্ছে আর বাংলাদেশ ঠিক কি কারণে দিন দিন পিছিয়ে যাচ্ছে। সেই সব প্রশ্নের উত্তর খুঁজব আজকের ভিডিওতে।

In the current political reality, there is an unspoken clash between Bangladesh and India. Various incidents have fueled tensions between the people of both neighboring countries. However, as a Bangladeshi, even in this conflicting situation, you must acknowledge one undeniable fact—India's advancement in the technology sector and its position in the global tech industry are not just ahead of Bangladesh but also far ahead of many other countries worldwide.

Yet, historically, India and Bangladesh do not have significant differences in terms of independence, ancient history, or ethnic background.

The dominance of Indians in major global companies like Google, Microsoft, and YouTube is striking. Currently, around 10 of the world's top companies have Indian CEOs. Due to such a stronghold in the global tech industry, India is often referred to as the "CEO Factory."

On the other hand, in Bangladesh, even the top positions of local companies are not held by Bangladeshis. Why is that? Despite having a demographic dividend, with nearly 65% of the country's population being of working age, and numerous universities across the country striving to develop skilled individuals, Bangladesh still fails to produce enough leaders for the technology sector. We are struggling to establish a solid presence in the global tech market.

Why is this happening? Where exactly is the problem? What specific areas has India focused on that have enabled it to lead the world today? And why is Bangladesh continuously falling behind?
