The fanfare signal that introduced the special reports of the High Command of the Wehrmacht in the radio stations of the Reichs-Rundfunk-Gesellschaft during the Second World War after the German attack on the Soviet Union in June 1941 was called Russia fanfare.
The fanfare signal was borrowed from the work Les Préludes by Franz Liszt .
