Shofar with Psalm 27 for Elul

Описание к видео Shofar with Psalm 27 for Elul

"Elul" can be understood to be an acronym for the phrase "Ani L'dodi V'dodi Li" – "I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine" (Song of Songs 6:3). Elul is seen as a time to search one's heart and draw close to God. Elul is the sixth month of the Hebrew ecclesiastical year and the twelfth month of the Jewish civil year.

The focus of this faith based site is on the intimate relationship between us and God through prayer. One traditional observance is to blow the shofar at sunrise and have a reading of Psalm 27. This video is in honor of that observance. Let's see what can happen during the month of Elul when both Jews and Christians collectively seek God, pray, praise the name of Jesus and more together.
