BREATHTAKING! Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau Alaska and Nugget Falls

Please join us on our visit to the Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau Alaska. It is a breathtaking sight! We viewed the glacier from two of the trails. The shorter trail is to "Photo Point", the longer trail is to "Nugget Falls". We also went up to the visitor's center where you can view the glacier from an observation room. It has a telescope set up for anyone to use. The rangers also let us touch a 200 year old piece of the glacier...it was cold and wet....and we also viewed a 15 minute film about the glacier and the delta region.
