The Slaws continue their early summer holiday. As usual they are travelling in Helga their Hobby motorhome with Billy and Jessie, their Lhasa Apso dogs.

The weather remains dreadful! They successfully navigate Rouen with only a €3.70 toll and decide to sack off the free motorways for the quicker péage option to circumnavigate Orléans and head further south in search of the sun. This toll cost €34.80.

Searchforsites throws up a lovely little aire in Ainay-le-Vieil at only €5 per night. The village is delightful and there is a château to visit too!
