Have I Finally Done It??

I find myself back at The Private Lake to try and catch my first Winter Carp from this venue.
2 Winters i’ve fished without a single bite.

Temperatures are mild, is there a chance to break the blank?

This beautiful intimate little water is around 3 acres at a guess. The bigger Carp have been very elusive to date and I am yet to catch a 20lber. I’ve caught fish to 19lb but they have been caught in this year up to high 20’s, as with a lot of lakes there’s the rumoured one or two in this case going much bigger, they’ve been seen but never caught. Firstly though, let’s just try and catch my first Winter carp.

Possible new sighting of a very large Mirror Carp too.

The lake is rarely fished so who knows what secrets it truly holds.
I’m here to enjoy the surroundings and nature, catch some nice fish along the way and my aim is to break the 20lb mark. My aim is also to sight and catch the Big One if it’s in there somewhere?
