This had a Celes,Gau, and Shadow start. It had good power but I chose to use the Illumina I got as a stat stick mostly. I played around with bserk on Gau so he could swing it and used an Enhancer with Celes but ultimately just settled on Fire 3. Shadow had Lore and GrandTrain from the start. I picked up Sabin in South Figaro and he came with MagiTek. I did Veldt and Serpent Trench before going to South Figaro and then did Sabin's WoB checks before going to the MRF to get the MagiTek upgrade. I found a couple MagPwr+1 espers and an exp egg as well. I loaded up Sabin and he wound up with a pretty high MagPwr at the end. However, I did Collapsing House and Cave in the Veldt before going to Floating Continent to try and get my 5th character but all I got was a bunch of magicite. The 5th character (Setzer) was at Opera House, and my 6th (Cyan) was in Daryl's Tomb. I had already unlocked KT skip when I arrived at the Floating Continent so I was way over on checks and on time. I rushed Kefka's Tower and took out the three statues easily. I had Dullahan on the left with Celes and Cyan, Doom Gaze and TunnelArmr up the middle with Shadow and Sabin and finally Ifrit/Shiva on the right with Gau and Setzer. For the final battle I had Fire 3, TekMissile, X-Zone, Ice 3, GrandTrain, Pearl Wind, Ultima, and Flare. For espers I had Unicorn, Siren, and Phantom. I used Phantom to avoid 10 hits which was a mistake. Magic death countered with Quartr so it had a 100% chance to hit everyone. Luckily Rest didn't open with Merton. However, Celes died to Calmness because I couldn't use Phantom again. Kefka got off a hyperdrive and killed Shadow but Gau and Sabin took the win, especially since Sabin had learned Quick so he could TekMissile two times in a turn.
