Program Overview
Infosys is hiring for two niche technical roles: Specialist Programmer and Digital Specialist Engineer, for the 2024 and 2025 graduate batches. The selection process is a hybrid model that begins with an online assessment and is followed by an in-person interview. The final role offered depends on the candidate's performance during the selection process.
Roles and Compensation
Specialist Programmer: The compensation package is ₹9.5 Lakhs per annum (LPA). The monthly take-home salary for a fresher is estimated to be between ₹63,000 and ₹66,000.
Digital Specialist Engineer: The compensation package is ₹6.25 LPA. The monthly take-home salary is estimated to be between ₹41,000 and ₹43,000 for a fresher.
Eligibility Criteria
Courses: BE, B.Tech, ME, M.Tech, MCA, MSc (Integrated course - 5 years), or MSc (Mathematics).
Branches: The program is open to several branches of engineering, including Computer Science Engineering, Information Science & Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Data Science/Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, among others.
Academic Criteria: Candidates must have a minimum of 6 CGPA or 60% in their 10th and 12th standards. For graduation and post-graduation, the minimum is 6 CGPA or 68%.
Batches: The recruitment is for the 2024 and 2025 batches only.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of two rounds: an online assessment followed by an in-person interview. The online assessment is designed to evaluate programming proficiency. The interview round assesses technical skills and behavioral competencies. The online test for Specialist Programmer and Digital Specialist Engineer roles is the same
