MassBio is launching “Policymakers Live” - a series of virtual briefings with a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, Massachusetts Senate, or a member of the Governor’s Administration.

In an effort to connect our membership with policymakers in lieu of traditional avenues not currently available, MassBio will host these 1-hour “virtual” briefings in the coming months. Policymakers will outline initiatives they are working on and attendees will have the chance to ask questions.

Representative Hannah Kane is a Republican State Representative representing the 11th Worcester District, which includes the communities of Shrewsbury and Westborough. She is serving in her 3rd Term as a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Representative Kane is a steadfast advocate for the rare disease community. This session she sponsored legislation to improve patient access to cancer clinical trials and to create a Massachusetts Rare Disease Advisory Council. She is the ranking minority member on the Joint Committee on Public Health.
