If you are planning on doing head gaskets in your Ls motor there is a couple things you must know. The head bolts are torque to yield meaning they can only be used once. There is 2 different styles of head bolts one set with 2 shorter bolts and the other with all the same length. You must also get proper head gaskets if your heads have the notch or not. if there is any doubt you should get your heads resurfaced especially if there were overheated.
