From 1 August 2025, Queensland property law is changing in a big way. Sellers will legally need to provide a Seller’s Disclosure Statement (Form 2) — plus prescribed certificates — before a buyer signs the contract. This new requirement is part of the Property Law Act 2023 reforms, and it’s the biggest shift in Queensland conveyancing in decades.
