Lately the Barn Owls have been spending a lot of time together. In and on the House. Winter is a time of courtship for the owls. They are very bonded and Affectionate toward each other. This is a contrast to #LucyAndSid, who, for the most part, were not overly Affectionate towards one another, particularly after their Owlets hatched.

We are now certain this bonded pair are not Lucy and Sid. We compared the female to Lucy's prior videos and the markings and coloring are different, as well as the face markings. We see here this male is primarily white on his chest/neck, while Sid had limited spots on his neck and sides. We don't know what happened to Lucy and Sid, however, Lucy was not keen on Sid while she was brooding their Owlets. Owls generally mate for life, but perhaps they are an exception to the rule.
