Dread Weight - Ways to Die and Endings

A compilation of the various deaths and jumpscares from being attacked in Dread Weight as well as its many endings. When you wake up with amnesia in an old mansion with some other folks along with ghosts, witches, and talking animals you get to make many choices that generally end poorly.

I received a free key from the developer to try this out. This is a kind of short visual novel that's also a sequel to Cooking Companions (which I knew of but had not played but I'll likely check it out at some point after this). Dying has no real consequences (other than that you lose all items if attacked while fixing the fuse or using the oven) as it will go back to the previous scene with "that's not how it happened". Seems overall pretty neat.

There's a general ending path that occurs if you don't unlock the chest (for the Kurt, Max, or Clover endings) or get the Witch ending (by maxing out hearts and opening the box). The Alone, Dmitri, Renata, and Gisela endings will play after the basic ending depending on your hearts with others. Hearts carry over to New Game Plus (which also makes the well death available) so folks that are impossible to max in one run like Renata can be maxed out on NG+ runs (but I don't think it does anything besides an achievement or determining the Alone/Dmitri/Renata endings).

I did find your character casually destroying items when you refuse to add them into your inventory to be quite entertaining.
