Season 4, Episode 5 — The Reeva Project

Join us aboard SV Reeva, our 12-meter sailing yacht, as we take on one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world — the Singapore Strait.

After a stormy night where our anchor dragged dangerously close to Singapore waters, we embarked on a 70-mile passage from West to East Johor Bahru — navigating squalls, strong currents, and hundreds of massive cargo and container ships.

With favorable currents, Reeva reached a record speed of 9 knots, weaving between 400-meter tankers and fast-moving commercial vessels.
After 11 intense hours, we made safe landfall at Senibong Cove Marina, a peaceful inlet at Sungai Lunchoo — the perfect place to rest and recover.

This episode is also a farewell tribute to our incredible crew mates, Apoorva and Swaroop, as they return to Switzerland. From sushi nights and karaoke fun to emotional goodbyes, this journey truly captures the essence of community, adventure, and life at sea.
