Alco RS1 Locomotive Cab Ride & Air Break Test • Danbury, CT

Back with another video at the Danbury Rail Museum - this time for a special family event/exhibit. We're riding aboard a New York New Haven Hartford RR Alco RS1 locomotive with an awesome engineer and conductor. The train rides out into the yard, stops for a tour of the engine and how it works, then the crew conducts an air break test. Along the way we also got to ride on the round house turntable for a bit and take a quick glimpse at a newly acquired Metro North FL9 413, yet to be restored. We finish our ride by heading back towards the station.
