(31-EDO) Partita, for Solo Keyboard

A short (sorta) neoclassical take on a Baroque dance suite.
I generally took liberties with the dances, and the influences aren't strictly classical (e.g. the bagpipe drones of the concluding Gigue).

I approached the use of chromaticism with 31 Equal Divisions of the Octave (EDO, for short) in a variety of ways, including creating new modes, making unusual modulations, and allowing more freedom with subtler & freer melodic shapes & counterpoint.

To many, this music will sound funky, and certainly not to most people's tastes. I only ask that it is treated respectfully, as I still feel relatively new to microtonality in general.
