चमचमीत चाट रगडा पॅटिस करण्यासाठी लागणारे साहित्य
रगडा
• २ कप सुके पांढरे वाटाणे
• पाणी
• १/४ चमचा हळद
• चवीनुसार मीठ
पॅटिस
• ६ उकडून, सोलून किसलेले बटाटे
• २ चमचा आलं-हिरव्या मिरचीचा ठेचा (आल्याचा तुकडा आणि ४~५ हिरव्या मिरच्या)
• १/४ चमचा हळद
• १/२ चमचा जिरेपूड
• १/४ चमचा चाट मसाला
• १/४ चमचा काळं मीठ
• चवीनुसार मीठ
• १ मोठा चमचा बारीक चिरलेली कोथिंबीर
• जरुरीनुसार तेल

Let’s see how to make chamchamit chat ragda patties today. This is a popular street food of Maharashtra. This is a delicious combination of potato patties and white peas curry known as ragda. It is then topped with some flavorful chutneys, onion, shev and coriander leaves. This not only looks tempting but also tastes simply superb. It is one of popular chat recipes. It is similar to north Indian chole tikki. It is a healthy recipe as we are not frying the patties. It keeps you full for a longer time and is a perfect evening snack. Ingredients:
Ragda
• 250 gm dried white Peas
• Water
• 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
• Salt to taste
Patties
• 6 boiled, peeled and grated Potatoes
• 2 tsp Ginger-Green chili paste (Piece of Ginger and 4~5 Green chilies)
• 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
• 1/4 tsp Chat masala
• 1/4 tsp black Salt
• Salt to taste
• 1 tbsp finely chopped Coriander leaves
• Oil as needed

Method:
Ragda
• Wash white peas really good and soak them in enough water overnight.
• Drain the water from soaked peas and wash them well again.
• Transfer them into a cooker and water and turmeric powder.
• Close the lid and steam the peas on medium heat for 15 minutes.
• Or you can cook the peas on medium heat until 3 whistles.
• Add salt and mash it well together.
• Turn the gas on and boil it well once. Ragda is ready.
Patties
• Mix potato, ginger-green chili paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, chat masala, black salt, salt, coriander leaves lemon juice and corn flour well together in a
bowl.
• Take small portion and roll it into patties in shape and size you want.
• Heat up oil in a pan and shallow fry the patties well until they get nice golden color from both
sides.
• When the patties are fried well, take them out and transfer them into a dish.
• You can make 8 patties from the ingredients used.
• Serve ragda first and place patties on it.
• Spread sweet tamarind chutney and spicy green chutney.
• Garnish with finely chopped onion and shev.
