Was Sonic Generations as Good as we Thought?

Since the announcement of Sonic X Shadow Generations, I've been thinking about which game I want remastered next, and more importantly if Sonic Generations should be remastered.

Note: At 2:10 I start talking about the Hedgehog Engine when referring to the physics, but it's actually a graphics engine. A few smart people corrected me in the comments, so thanks to those guys.
