Hooke's Law Physics Problems - Spring Constant Calculation

Описание к видео Hooke's Law Physics Problems - Spring Constant Calculation

This tutorial uses Hooke's law to solve a physics problem in order to calculate the spring constant (spring stiffness).

In physics, the spring constant is how much force is required to extend the spring by a unit amount.

For example, the spring constant could be 0.3 N/cm. Note that non-standard units for extension are often used, e.g. cm or mm.

If a material or spring obeys Hooke's Law, then the extension of the material is directly proportional to the force applied.
