To display all the event listings, users need to create a new page from the pages menu at the admin panel and add shortcodes in the template file. The shortcode outputs a list of your events/the event along with the filters for searching.

Setup for the event listings

To create a new page, follow the path

WP-admin - Pages - New Page and name it something along the lines of “Events” and then inside the content area add the shortcode:

Insert the shortcode into the ‘text’ view of the visual editor to ensure it gets formatted correctly.
The event listings have various shortcode attributes but in this video, we will be describing the cancelled attribute which allows you to display or hide cancelled events.

You can keep the setting to true to display the cancelled events or false to not show the cancelled events or you can also rely on the default setting
