How does it work?

The Yoshi Grill & Bake Mat allows your meat, fish or poultry to soak up the maximum amount of marinade, keeping everything tender and juicy. In addition the bake mat, for use in the oven, helps to prevent burning the dough you might be using for pastries and pizza crusts.

The completely non-stick surface makes flipping meat and anything else you may be cooking, easy and hassle free. No food can slip through the metal grates, and it is absolutely simple to remove from the grill when done. Even a pizza will slide off and be ready to serve.

How are these mats manufactured?

The Yoshi mats are made of a glass fabric sheet coated with PTFE, which is similar to Teflon. It is, however, free of PFOA, where studies have shown that this chemical compound could be carcinogenic. The “grill” mat is black, the “bake” mat is tan.
It is interesting to note that both PTFE and PFOA are chemicals used in the preparation of non-stick coatings, but the Yoshi product contains no traces of PFOA.
What can I cook on the Yoshi mat?

On the grill you can cook meat, burgers, poultry, seafood, veggies and much more.
In the oven you can bake pastries and pizza without using baking pans. Just place the non-stick cooking mat on the oven rack, and away you go!
