📍 Structures Seen in a Sagittal Section of the Female Pelvis
When the pelvis is cut in the mid-sagittal plane (dividing left and right halves), the following structures are visible from anterior → posterior:

Pubic symphysis (bony landmark at the front).

Urinary bladder just behind the pubic symphysis.

Urethra extends downward and forward from the bladder.

Uterus positioned above the bladder.

Fundus at the top, body in the middle, cervix projecting downward into the vagina.

Uterus is normally anteverted and anteflexed (tilted forward).

Vagina extending downward and backward from the cervix toward the perineum.

Rectum located behind the vagina.

Ends in the anal canal.

Sacrum and coccyx forming the posterior bony boundary.
