The Leica M8 BLEW MY MIND

Unfortunately, there's a huge problem with this camera. It has what is called a hot or dead pixel on the sensor (sample at the end of the video). You can see a red dot (Not the Leica Logo) with a thin red line running all the way down through every image. I have not done much research yet, but I don't believe it can be fixed in 2024 due to lack of parts. Maybe I can still have mapped. I'll have to check into it. It does look like there's a program called pixelfixer that can remove it dead pixels from the raw files and of course the removal tool in photoshop will easily remove it. With that said, I paid nearly $2800, a premium for the Leica M8 at the time of the purchase. I could have saved $1000 by buying a worn but correctly working copy, as the seller said this one was working properly. Yes, I'll probably keep it because I'm already attached to it lol and the workarounds are not that bad.
