SAN ANDREAS: Watch 17 Minutes of Behind-the-Scenes Footage from the Movie

Warner Bros. has released nearly 20 minutes of behind-the-scenes footage from director Brad Peyton’s (Journey 2: The Mysterious Island) upcoming disaster film San Andreas. The film takes place around the events of a massive Earthquake shaking California to its core. Dwayne Johnson stars as a helicopter rescue pilot whose ex-wife (Carla Gugino) and daughter (Alexandra Daddario) are put right in harm’s way.

Check out the clips and behind-the-scenes footage below. Paul Giamatti,Archie Panjabi, Ioan Gruffudd, Hugo Johnstone-Burt, and Art Parkinson also star. The film opens in theaters on May 29th.

Here’s the official synopsis:

After the infamous San Andreas Fault finally gives, triggering a magnitude 9 earthquake in California, a search and rescue helicopter pilot (Dwayne Johnson) and his estranged wife make their way together from Los Angeles to San Francisco to save their only daughter.

But their treacherous journey north is only the beginning. And when they think the worst may be over…it’s just getting started.
