These days there are many imitation "Elephant Sanctuaries"... but at the Elephant Valley Project, Cambodia they truly put the Elephant first, this means they don't do many of the activities that you can find at other "Elephant Sanctuaries" (see those air quotes!) like feeding, swimming, riding.

Thats because these activities mean that the Elephants have undergone cruel training to make them safe enough to interact with many humans on a daily basis.
