Most importantly, pray for Israel! In Psalm 122:6 we are commanded to "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you." We don't pray for Israel or the peace of Jerusalem so that we will prosper, we pray for Israel because we love our heavenly Father who is the God of Israel.
