About Radio ... Part 39 One Transistor FM Transmitter

Описание к видео About Radio ... Part 39 One Transistor FM Transmitter

If you experiment with transmitting equipment make sure that you comply with the regulations of your county. This project was inspired by Rick and his site 'AllAmericanFiveRadio' Rick shows several FM QRP (low power) transmitters, I hadn't got the transistor that Rick used in his latest experiment but after watching his video I started looking at other circuits and I came up with one by 'dazaro3' another YouTuber. I wanted the unit as the 'sender' for a remote/wireless door bell that I want to make. I had brought a wireless doorbell but I returned it as it was useless as it had a range of only a few feet. With a 9 volt supply and a small antenna this transmitter works up to 40 foot through two internal walls and the 11 inch brick external wall of the house. By the way the operating frequency in this video is around 96 MHz but of course it is adjustable. This circuit is only a copy of what other folk have done and my thanks go to everyone who contributes positively to YouTube and the internet as I've had a lot of fun playing with this and without the net I probably wouldn't have got interested in it.
Remember if you are caught infringing the wireless regulations of your country you could face severe penalties including fines, confiscation of all electronic equipment and possibly imprisonment! And I guess in some countries the penalties could be terminal.
Thanks for watching.
Kind Regards ... Andy

If you look in the 'show more' box of that video you'll find a link to how I cut the pads that the components are mounted on.    • About Radio part 41 Quality Audio FM ...
