Many people don't realize you do not need a USDA loan to buy farmland, with little cash down, in the U.S. today. The USDA has loan programs, and I am sure they work for some people, but in my case, I did not have 3-years of prior farming experience.

There is another network that is nationwide in this country that WILL issue farmland loans to beginner farmers. And when I say beginner, I mean I had never even grown a plant in my life.

In this video, I go over 2 ways to buy farmland with little cash down that does not involve prior farming experience. 1 option requires a credit score of over 620; the other doesn't involve a credit score at all.
