From this divine knowledge the blessed people founded the Satanas Tribe with the powerful holy men to rule over them. Over the next several centuries the Satanas Tribe would dominate the world, out-competing the inferior humans."

The modern-day Audacians are the descendents of the ancient Satanas Tribe that arrived in Audacia in year one of their calendar. The song "Gift of Bellum" is a reminder of the Satanas Tribe's golden age and their fall from glory due to their own arrogance and the waves of war, peace and power that their people have endured. Just as Levi also wrote in the same book:

"Chief Kanza had forced his tribe to build a great tower overlooking the fertile fields of Audacia to serve as his future tomb, and it was from here that he summoned Bellum. Angered by the Magi's transgressions, Bellum rebuked Kanza which resulted into the dellusional Magi attacking Bellum. Bellum's avatar ignited into fire which consumed all living things within the entire region." eradicating the entire Southern Tribe and forever scorching the land."

Giving weight to the theme of the ode, religious Audacians firmly believe that it is their virtue and morality which brings them blessings, and their sins which bring them downfall which is reflected in the bittersweet sound of their anthem.
