1972 Pontiac Grandville - Gateway Classic Cars - San Antonio/Austin

Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is pleased to present this 1972 Pontiac Grandville. The Pontiac Grandville was the top-trim model in Pontiac's full-sized line from 1971 to 1975. It displaced the Pontiac Bonneville which had served as Pontiac's top-trim model since 1958. Repainted in the original color of Cumberland Blue this Pontiac shines bright. The Grandville models included the monstrous 455CID V-8 with a 4-barrel carburetor (rated at 220hp from the factory) & mated to a smooth shifting turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission, power steering and power front disc brakes. Popular options included air conditioning, power windows and driver's seat, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, AM/FM stereo and the rare option of seat belts with shoulder straps. The front and rear bench seats are upholstered in special Keswick luxury cloth and expanded Morrokide vinyl, which wasn't an option on the convertible models, and is accompanied by heavy-cut pile carpeting and cigarette lighters built into both sides of the back of the front bench. Riding on factory ordered Rally II wheels, it keeps the classic appeal to this showstopper! The three-spoke steering wheel frames instrumentation that includes a 120-mph speedometer and an analog clock surrounded an inset fuel-level gauge and warning lights.
