2007 Yamaha FZ6 engine ticking noise

Troubleshooting a ticking noise on my 2007 Yamaha FZ6. Replaced the cam chain tensioner with a manual one, fixed valve clearances, still had the noise, troubleshooting continues... Pulled oil pan off and don't seem to have any slop in the connecting rods/crankshaft so figure its unlikely to have a spun bearing. I REPLACED THE OIL PUMP CHAIN AND IT DID NOT FIX THE NOISE PROBLEM!

The motorcycle is stored for the winter for now, I'll take another look at it this spring. I'm wondering what it could be. Next thing I'll check is maybe valve springs but otherwise I'll probably have to pull and take apart the whole motor/trans to find the issue

update*** from what I understand a piece of clutch got wedged between the gear on the crankshaft and the clutch basket gear causing buildup on the gears. This causes them to chatter and not mesh correctly. I debated changing out the crankshaft and clutch basket but I ended up buying a used motor and swapping it in. Works just fine now :). Although I just have my other motor sitting now, Id like to fix it but it would probably cost more than what it's worth.
