INCREDIBLE Day of Railfanning on the Colorado Joint Line! 9/9/2024

After a fire and derailment the night before (different trains), all traffic was held up for upwards of twelve hours to clear everything up. This led to the next day having over double the traffic it would usually see, including THREE UP trains (prior to this day, it had been months, if not years, since three ran in daylight) and a ton of other awesome catches. We started the day outside Pueblo for the C-BKMHAF that set on fire, note the fire damage on the second unit, and afterwards moved to Bragdon for the WKWPU, MNYPU, and C-EBMSLP. A pause in action ensued, before I moved to Palmer Lake and the surrounding area for the rest of the trains that day. All in all, I was able to catch 13 of the ~20 trains in daylight, and would comfortably say this day held better trains than the entire rest of the month.
