SNES - Tetris Attack - VS Mode Speedrun (Easy, Combos Only) -

A speedrun of the VS mode on Easy difficulty if you were not allowed to do any chains.

So with this category extension for this game, it started out as a joke that was later made into a TAS by KSS on the original Panel de Pon game (you can watch the TAS here:    • [TAS] SNES Panel de Pon 1P VS S-Hard:...  ). So the rules for this category extension are that you must beat all the stages doing nothing but combos. If any chain occurs, even an accidental chain off of clearing garbage that you can't do anything about, you must restart the stage you are on and try the stage again. Thankfully in this game and unlike the original Japanese version, you can easily continue from the stage you restarted from to try again.

This run was clean until the very end. I have had clean runs before this, but this one was just far and away the fastest one I had that night. Hoping for a clean run that at least gets under 8 minutes real time. Enjoy!
