Teen Idol and film star Michael Sarne recorded another pop song, this time with a little help from an 18 year old unknown, the quirky Wendy Richard. Wendy was hired to come in for 2 recording sessions, for which she was paid "15 quid each". The novelty record "Come Outside" not only became a million seller, but it was the springboard catapulting Wendy Richard to stardom. The pretty blonde went on to star in such hit TV series like "Are You Being Served", "Grace & Favour" and the cult classic soap opera "Eastenders". It all started with that 30 pounds gig to "lend your voice to a novelty record". We are so glad she accepted! We love you Wendy Richard!!!!!
